TURKEY WORK PERMIT DOMESTIC ENGLISH, INFOGRAPHICS GUIDE 2019

The employee must hold a residence permit remaining at least for six months and must have a labour contract with the Turkish company in Turkey. Next the Turkish employer signs up for a user account on www turkiye gov tr and complete the required information about the foreigner and upload the signed employment contract and necessary documents. The employee should check and make sure all information provided is accurate whereas the wrong or missing information could result in process delays. Upon completion of initial application submission, print out of the documents should be signed both by the employee. Unless either parties are able to sign, wet signed labor contract should be added in the application file.

The application form and other documents must be submitted to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security with at most six (6) working days. Otherwise the entire procedure must be repeated. With the Turkish work permit procedure approval by the Turkey Ministry of Labor, the foreign employee is requested to pay required fees. Once the empoyer in Turkey makes payment, the employee may start working for the employer.

The employer must register the foreigner employee with the Social Security Institution about the insurance entrance of the employee as of the permit date. The monthly social security premium payments must be made based on the wage declaration to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security on time. Turkish company wage paid to foreign employee cannot be lower than the Turkish minimum wage index. You are now insured and bearer of foreigners work permit in Turkey. You are safe.
